Simon Dyson has all to drive for in BMW Masters

YORK’S king of clubs Simon Dyson has three more tournaments ahead of the European Tour’s lucrative finale.

Dyson, who is determined to recapture his top 50 status in the world rankings – he is currently rated at 59 – will be among the early starters in tomorrow’s BMW Masters in the Chinese city of Shanghai.

He then has a week off practising in Dubai – as he does not qualify for the final World Golf Championship event in Mission Hills in China next week – before returning for the Singapore Open and the Hong Kong Open.

Another week’s break will then follow before the Euro calendar concludes with the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai from November 22 to 25.

Including tomorrow’s BMW Masters, where Dyson will be partnered over the first two rounds by Michael Hoey and Sweden’s Robert Karlsson, the next three events comprise a prize money total pot of $15 million before the conclusion of the season in Dubai, where the cash fund is $8 million.
