Home-made specialities include our famous Whitby Crab and Chicken Liver pates, salads, seasonal hot soups, quiches, delicious cakes and biscuits. Deli sandwiches are made to order with a mouth-watering list of suggestions. If what you fancy isn' on our list, just choose your bread and select your fillings from the cornucopia of goodies in the shop, and if that means you don't want olives, or you prefer extra sun-dried tomatoes, it's your call!

Henshelwoods stocks an amazing array of cheeses - generally over 40 'regulars' at any one time and guest cheeses and new cheese-makers making appearances throughout the year. If you don't know your Cheddar from your Cheshire or not sure if you like blue cheeses at all, tasters are happily given with no obligation to buy.
