AWARD-winning RedBlack Software of York has launched the second major version of its general business management solution.
The new CyPro 2.0 software contains many new features which were developed in close collaboration with RedBlack’s core CyPro customers in Yorkshire.
Jane Tyler, owner and managing director of the firm, which won the Science and Technology Business Of The Year in The Press Business Awards two years ago, said: “We have clients all over the UK and Ireland for our various products, including CyPro.
“CyPro has its origins in our roots as a provider of custom-made business applications to local firms when we started out back in 1998.
“What began as software for business management functions such as customer databases, order processing and stock control, has matured into a multi-faceted solution that has grown with our local customers.
“As we custom-fit our software to their precise needs, we have been asked to develop solutions to a very wide range of challenges. It would be fair to say that CyPro has Yorkshire-bred business sense built-in.”
New features of CyPro 2.0 include modules that handle customer relationship management, web-based e-commerce, supply-chain management and traceability, marketing and mailshots, and workflow management.
RedBlack Software’s major local customers include York-based industrial safety and telecommunications specialist Tele-Products, and office furniture supplier Lundia, based in Shipton.
