The new Mayor of Selby, Coun George Carter, will officially open the day at noon on community land off Scott Road, where birds of prey, heavy horses and vintage tractors will vie for attention with a snappy crocodile, a bouncy castle and a climbing wall.

In Selby Park, the Barlby Foot Tappers, Selby Music Centre and South Milford Brass Band will providing entertainment.
