Selby Cine and Video Club have presented their annual awards.
The documentary Bring Me Sunshine, about solar panels being installed at his home, won the Film Of The Year award for George Senior of West Cowick.
“I just thought it was something different and a very topical subject at the moment,” said George, 80, a retired farmer. The award for a film set to music was won by Alan Hatfield, of Brayton, with his production of The Wedding.
It was filmed in All Saints’ Church, Wistow, as part of the village scarecrow festival and the wedding scene was set up by people from the village school.
“It made a very interesting film and I think the children won first prize for their entry" said Alan, 85.
