TWO brothers are among four young men accused of running a cannabis supply operation in Selby.

Jordan James Smith, 21, and his 19-year-old brother, Robert Ian Smith, are charged with possessing a class B drug at their home in Charles Street, Selby, between February 22, 2013, and March 15, 2013, with intent to supply it to others.

Saul Gentles, 21, of Powell Street, Selby, faces the same charge.

They appeared before York magistrates alongside Anthony David Dickinson, 21, of The Chimes, Flaxley Road, Selby, who is accused of possessing a class B drug with intent and possessing a class C drug, both at the Smiths’ home on March 15, 2013.

He faces an additional charge of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply it in Cowie Drive, Selby, on the same day.

None of the four entered a plea.

Magistrates decided the case was too serious for them to deal with and sent the four to York Crown Court where they will appear on January 12.

They were released on unconditional bail.
