TRADERS in Selby have been urged to take part in a Best Dressed Christmas Window Display competition.
The competition in Finkle Street and Micklegate has been organised by Selby Town Council and will be judged by the Mayor on Wednesday, December 17.
Deputy Mayor Councillor Harding said: "It is a fantastic opportunity for all the shops along these two streets to get into the spirit of Christmas and show local residents and visitors what they have to offer and promote their businesses."
There will be a prize of £100 for the best dressed window, and premises owners must register to take part before December 7.
