FIREFIGHTERS were called to a home in Selby when an electric razor over-heated.
The crew attended the scene, in Furnley Close, at 2pm yesterday after the device, which was on charge charged, over-heated and caught fire.
It quickly spread to a pile of clothes in the bedroom. and firefighters were forced to use breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
The bedroom and two other rooms in the property were damaged, but no-one was injured.
The crew left the scene at 2.40pm.
