Two are cut from car in Whixley
FIREFIGHTERS were called after a car which rolled on to its side and crashed.
The Skoda Roadster swerved and rolled on to its side in Clockhill Field Lane in Whixley, trapping the male driver and female passenger.
Crews released them using hydraulic cutting equipment.
Both were taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from cuts and bruises and “non life threatening” neck and back injuries, following the crash at 10.30am yesterday.
