THIEVES tried to steal a gun dog from a property in Hensall, North Yorkshire Police have said.
The incident occurred between 3pm and 4pm on Tuesday, August 12, when a man tried to call the dog’s name.
When the owner of the dog appeared, the man ran and jumped into a Ford Transit van.
Police said two men may have been involved, and any sightings or similar incidents should be reported on 101.
