HUNDREDS of people turned out to enjoy the annual Selby Fun Day.
The event took place on Sunday and was kicked off by Selby Battle Of The Band winners Frames, who performed on the recreation field after the official opening by town mayor councillor Rosie Corrigan.
Other live bands played at the event The event also saw a wartime tea dance in the main hall, stalls and the Selby Motorcycle and Classic Car Rally.
A spokesman for Selby Town Council, who organised the event, said: “The Selby Fun Day was a very successful event.
“We have had lots of great feedback from visitors who came to the day.
“Thanks to all that came and enjoyed the day and we all hope they will return next year.”
