PLANS for this year’s Selby Town Council Family Fun Day are already under way, and will include a motorcycle rally.
The annual event will include a fun run sponsored by Space Creative and organised by Selby Striders, which will leave Selby High School at 10.30am on Sunday, June 15. Councillor Rosie Corrigan, the town mayor, will open the event at the community centre at noon, with Claire Collins’ dance group, donkey rides, mobile skate park, climbing wall, bouncy castles, face painting and ridess on offer.
This will be the first time the event will host the Selby Motorcycle Rally as part of the fun day, with vintage motorcycles and classic cars on the bottom field at the community centre from noon. The pop concert will open at 12.30pm on the recreation ground, Portholme Road, by the winners of the Town Hall Battle of the Bands competition.
