SELBY District Council has decided to freeze its council tax in the coming year.
The decision means that residents will pay no more council tax to fund services provided by the authority such as bin collections, leisure services, housing support and planning.
Council leader Mark Crane said there would be no change because the authority had worked hard to get ahead – and stay ahead – of funding cuts.
