The team from The Wheatsheaf, Burn, who won the Selby Lions annual pub quiz
THIRTEEN teams at pubs across Selby took part in the Selby Lions annual pub quiz .
The team from The Wheatsheaf Inn, Burn, were crowned the winners with a score of 83 out of 100. Second was The Greyhound, Riccall, with 76. The Black Dog Inn, Camblesforth, took third with 73.
Money was raised at each pub and will be used for the Lions’ annual senior citizens party, to take place in March.
Collections are being counted and the pub which raised the most will be presented with a trophy when the totals are in.
