HUNDREDS of messages, dozens of floral displays and candles lit in memory formed York’s tribute to schoolboy Sean Hamilton, killed in a hit-and-run crash.
Among those paying tribute was Father Pat Smith, of The Church of Our Lady, in Acomb, who joined pupils and staff at Sean’s school to light a candle for the Foxwood boy.
An inquest opened yesterday into Sean’s death revealed how he died from multiple injuries after being dragged “some distance” down Holgate Road.
