RESIDENTS in North Yorkshire are being warned about a rise in bogus callers and unauthorised collections.
North Yorkshire County Council trading standards teams and licensing officers are now looking into leaflets asking for donations of clothes, shoes and other household items following a rise in the number of people logging calls about bogus clothing charity collections.
