RESIDENTS and staff at The Abbey residential home in Old Malton have marked the Queen’s Jubilee year by planting a tree.
The Oak was planted in the grounds of the home with the help of several of the residents.
Manager Ann Race said they had celebrated the occasion with an afternoon tea.
“We will also be having a plaque made to place on the tree to explain why it was planted,” she said.
