The Great Yorkshire Brewery produces Robert Fuller Beers

A BREWERY has teamed up with wildlife artist Robert Fuller to produce a new range of casks.

The Great Yorkshire Brewery, formally Cropton Brewery, near Pickering, said the Robert Fuller Beers comprises 12 new casks, each featuring paintings of a Yorkshire bird or animal — with the beers’ flavours echoing characteristics of that creature.

For example, the barn owl, out in July, is said to have a “pleasant hoppy finish that is so light it evokes the glide of a white barn owl”.

Mr Fuller, of Thixendale, has pledged a proportion of the profits to his wildlife conservation projects.
