FATHER Christmas put in an early visit to help promote his Santa Specials on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR).
The steam railway has unveiled details of its festive programme, which will run from December 1 to 23.
Families will be able to see reindeer at Pickering Station before boarding the train. Children can also get onboard at Grosmont Station where Santa will be on-board handing out some early Christmas presents.
Chris Price, general manager at NYMR, said: “Our Santa Specials bring so much joy to our visitors, and to see children, parents and grandparents enjoying the experience is an absolute pleasure.
“With something for everyone, young and old, we look forward to welcoming passengers of all ages to delight in the wonder of Christmas on the railway.”
