FIREFIGHTERS helped a farmer rescue two cows which had got stuck in deep mud in a village in the North York Moors.
A crew was called to the scene in Danby at around 7.35pm yesterday (August 20).
They used strops and small tools to assist a farmer using heavy machinery rescue to rescue the animals.
Both cows were released unharmed.
