AN anti-fracking protester has been conditionally discharged for six months.
Vanda Gillett, 41, who gave her address as the protesters’ camp off Habton Road, Kirby Misperton, denied obstructing the highway in Habton Road, but was convicted at a trial at York Magistrates Court.
She was ordered to pay a £20 statutory surcharge and £100 prosecution costs. The offence was committed on October 11 during an anti-fracking protest.
