ARTISTS from Potter Brompton near Sherburn are staging a summer exhibition of their work.

Local artists Andrew and Helen Wrigley have converted an old hay barn at their farm to create a working and exhibition space for themselves and other local artists.

Now they’re opening their doors to the public in support of the Ryedale Carers Support charity.

The exhibition opens tomorrow (Saturday, June 23) and runs until Sunday, July 1.

It will be open each day from 11am to 6pm.

Featured artists will include Andrew and Helen, Atty Dickson, Speth Milnes and Adam King.

Andrew said: “We were very keen to attract others as we know from experience that such collaborations are really fruitful.”

Helen added: “We have been amazed and delighted by the response.

"Paper, plastic, fabric, driftwood, wire, stone and even trees from our own woods have all been turned into a wide range of interesting pieces to compliment the pictures, prints and photographs that we will be showing.”
