A HOMEOWNER in a Ryedale village came home to find three burglars in their house.
Police were called just before midday last Thursday, June 7, to a report of a burglary at a property in Crambeck village.
Three men were found in the property. After being disturbed by the homeowner, they left via a smashed window at the rear.
Searches of the property also show that they had gained access to the shed.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing to any members of the public who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of the burglary to contact police on 101, select option 1 to speak to the Force Control Room and pass on the information.
