13,000 chickens die in shed fire
ABOUT 13,000 chickens are believed to have died in a fire in a chicken shed in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said six fire crews went in the early hours of this morning to the blaze in a shed at Faceby, near Stokesley, measuring about 90 by 20 metres.
The fire is under investigation but is currently believed to have started accidentally.
