POLICE were called to an accident in Helmsley after a 66-year-old man was hit by a van.
The accident, which involved a Peugeot van, happened at about 8pm on Thursday, January 15, in Bridge Street.
The driver of the van was uninjured and the pedestrian was taken to the Friarage Hospital, in Northallerton, with minor injuries.
