THE Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is looking for volunteers to join its Malton Fundraising Guild.
The group meets about seven times a year in the Malton area to plan and organise fundraising activities, such as wine tasting evenings, golf days and RNLI collections.
Donald Low, Malton RNLI Guild chairman, said: “We’re a really friendly group and would welcome any new members who might help us to generate innovative fundraising ideas or simply provide us with extra pairs of hands to help with events and collections.”
The next event being hotsted by the guild is a coffee morning at the Talbot Hotel, Malton, on Friday, November 7, from 10am to 11.30am.
As well as refreshments and a raffle, there will be the chance to buy RNLI Christmas cards.
