Motorcyclist killed in Yorkshire crash named by police
THE motorcyclist who died in a crash in the Yorkshire Dales has been named as Martin John Young.
Mr Young, 48, from York, was riding with another man on the B6479 close to Horton in Ribblesdale on Monday, when their bikes left the road on a bend.
Mr Young was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second man suffered a broken collar bone and has since been released from hospital.
North Yorkshire Police have urged anyone who saw the crash, or either bike - a black KTM and a red and white Husqvarna - prior to the incident, to contact them on 101 or email martin.mulcaster@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
