A TEENAGE girl was injured when she was hit with a BB-gun pellet.
The girl, 16, was hit on Valley Bridge, Scarborough, at around 4.15pm on Wednesday, August 20.
As she crossed the bridge, the girl felt a sharp pain in her arm and found a BB-gun-type metal pellet on the ground.
Police are appealing to witnesses, including anyone who saw a girl in dark clothing and with dark hair walking across the bridge.
Officers would like to speak to the occupants of a red car which was driven across the bridge at the time of the incident, and anyone else who was in the Valley Bridge area at around 4.15pm on August 20.
