Di Keal wins Norton West by-election

Di Keal is the new Norton West Ward Councillor for Ryedale District Council following a by-election.

She took the seat with 381 votes, Paul Farndale (Cons) received 181 votes and Karl Reveley (Labour) getting 75 votes.

The election was held following the death of former councillor Judith Denniss.

Excellent news. Di is a great local ambassador and gets stuff done. Wish we had someone as good on the Malton side of the river.
