MAY I compliment City of York Council on the magnificent display of tulips (Banja Luka) at the junction between Blake Street and Museum Street, for its spring flowers.
They are very eye-catching and I stopped for a while to ponder in admiration.
York always has a nice display of garden flowers and roses at strategically key positions in the city centre, and citizens, as well as tourists are blessed with colourful showings worthy of artistic merit by those who diligently plant the flowers and prune the roses.
A breath of fresh air, metaphorically speaking, creating pride in the city.
