Provocative artist Damien Hirst has unveiled 46 new paintings that develop and expand on his spot paintings.

His new works, which also include 15 large bronze sculptures, are on show at the State Rooms in lavish mansion Houghton Hall, in Norfolk.

The series of new paintings, entitled Colour Space, have never been shown in public before.

Hirst is perhaps most well-known for his shark preserved in formaldehyde as well as his diamond-encrusted skull and rotting cow’s head.
