A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of stealing more than £3,000 worth of meat from a butcher’s shop in Boroughbridge.
J & L Meats in St James’ Square was burgled overnight between January 24 and 25.
A 19-year-old man from Northumbria has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on police bail.
