A SHORTLIST of three candidates has been announced for the Labour nomination in the York Central parliamentary seat.
Union chief Rachael Maskell will go up against Jo Coles - who works for shadow chancellor Ed Balls - and human rights lawyer Katie Ghose - currently the chief executive of the Electoral Reform Society.
The three now face a final hustings and vote of party members in York, due to take place on Sunday, February 15.
