YORK people are being reminded to renew their YorkCards in time for the Residents' Festival weekend from January 31 - February 1.
The cards will need to be shown over the weekend to take advantage of tours, attractions in and out of town, special events, plus shopping and dining offers, organised by Visit York in partnership with City of York Council and sponsored by First.
The cards are available to all City of York Council residents as a library membership card, and act as a passport to year-round discounts at a range of council-owned or partner attractions.
They last a year and can be bought or renewed at any Explore Library and Rowntree Park Reading Café, with a £3 admin fee.
