House fire at Falsgrave Crescent
FIRE crews were called to a terraced house in Falsgrave Crescent at about 12.50pm on Wednesday.
A fire had started in the living room of the property, and a North Yorkshire Fire Service spokeswoman said it “caused extensive damage” to the living area.
Nobody was hurt in the incident, and the smoke alarm did not activate.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
