A MAN was stabbed in his back in Northallerton on Wednesday.
North Yorkshire Police were called to the Friarage Hospital at 9.50am on Wednesday after the 34-year-old man was admitted for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and police believe the incident was targeted and isolated, meaning the wider community is not at risk.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Crosby Road area of Northallerton or has information on how the man sustained his injuries should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 or phone Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
