RAG rugs and other crafts will go on display at York Cemetery Chapel later this month.

The exhibition is being staged by ten York Crafters, an informal group of like-minded friends who meet weekly to work together on their crafts, exchange ideas and inspire one another.

“This exhibition represents our work during the last two years, and is the seventh of its kind to be held in the chapel,” said spokeswoman Ruth Corry.

“We display and sell our work which will include rag rugs, wall hangings, baskets, prints, paintings, knitting and crocheted goods, tapestry weaving, spinning and pyrography.”

The exhibition runs from 10am to 4pm daily, from October 17 to 19, with free admission.
