YORK’S cultural strategic partnership, York@Large, is looking for a new voluntary chairman after it emerged that Patrick Kelly is leaving to pursue his further education and own interests.
Cllr Sonja Crisp, cabinet member for culture at City of York Council, thanked Mr Kelly for his hard work and enthusiasm in the role. She said: “We want York to be seen as an inclusive, lively and active city, with a strong international profile and the role of chairperson is key to the future of culture in the city.”
Nominations, which may be self nominations, should be sent to Gill Cooper, Secretary of York@Large at gill.cooper@york.gov.uk by November 30 with a short biography and one side of A4 on why the nominee is suitable.
