A BURST water main which caused traffic problems at Walmgate Bar has been fixed, Yorkshire Water has said.
Temporary traffic lights had been set up after the water main was found to have burst on Tuesday causing water to gush into the road.
Repair work was expected to have been completed last night, Yorkshire Water said.
Meanwhile, there was also a burst to a main in Wigginton Road yesterday morning.
No customers were affected, "in terms of water pressure or supply, and traffic", Yorkshire Water said.
