Royal Mail delivery targets beaten
MAIL deliveries in York have beaten Royal Mail targets for the first quarter of the year.
A total of 93.8 per cent of First Class mail in the YO postcode was delivered on time, the day after being posted, beating the national target of 93 per cent.
Second Class mail delivery was also improved nationally, from 98.9 per cent to 99 per cent being delivered within three working days.
