THINK you know about wine? Think again. Timi Kerekes can teach you a thing or two.
The restaurant manager at Tykes, attached to Sandburn Hall Golf Club, in Flaxton, can certainly tell the difference between a Bordeaux and a Beaujolais.
The 31-year-old recently passed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust's Intermediate course - just a couple levels below the fabled Masters of Wine qualification.
Miss Kerekes, who has been working at Tyke's for the last seven years, said: "I passed the intermediate level last September, which was a multiple question test, and I applied to do the Level 3 - which is the advanced course - and did that at the end of April.
"There were three parts: a blind tasting for two wines, one red and one white, there were four short written answer questions and another questionnaire and I passed all three parts with distinction.
"I am quite happy."
Miss Kerekes said she is not finished studying : "The next course is the diploma and opens the way for the Masters of Wine course," she added.
"There are only around 300 of them. I am planning to do the diploma next year but that takes more than 12 months of studying and a lot of blind tastings."
