Police appeal after assault at Bootham supermarket

POLICE want to speak to a man regarding an assault in York.

The man began throwing items around the Sainsbury’s Local in Bootham at about 11.50pm on Saturday, May 24, and was challenged by a member of staff.

The worker was then grabbed and pushed against the shelves.
