A NEW footbridge has been opened in Strensall.
Developer David Wilson Homes – which built The Tannery development – has built the bridge over the River Foss to improve accessibility.
Family of five, the Reeds, who moved in to the village in July, were personally invited to cut the ribbon and unveil the wooden footbridge, which will ensure the safety of their three children when crossing the river on their way to school.
