TWENTY-TWO adults were assessed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the York area last year - at a cost of £17,473.
Responding to a Freedom of Information request made by a member of the public, the Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group said it was not aware of the number of children assessed, as this information was held by the Leeds and York NHS Partnership Foundation Trust.
