SCHOOLS, sports clubs, parish councils and community groups can mark the centenary of the First World War by planting a tree.
The Woodland Trust has already given away more than 14,000 saplings in North Yorkshire and has many more for distribution and planting in November.
Applications must be made via the trust’s website by September 4.
