MP to speak at university
A former deputy political secretary to Tony Blair will deliver the latest Ebor lecture tomorrow.
Shadow cabinet minister John Cruddas, MP for Dagenham and Rainham, will make a speech, followed by a short question and answer session, at York St John University from 6.15pm. This year’s Ebor series looks at the Morality of Austerity, its effects on the most vulnerable members of society and the relationship between the citizen and the state.
