LEADERS in tourism, hospitality and retail in York will be presented with their awards from a new Institute of Leadership and Management-accredited (ILM) course run by York council.
The awards will be given to 20 local individuals committed to retail and tourism. They have come from small businesses, the council’s markets and special events team, and York Museums Trust.
The 21st Century Retail and Tourism Ambassador programme was delivered by City of York Council and the North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), with funding from the European Social Fund and the businesses themselves.
