Harrogate M&S store plan on agenda

PLANS for a new Marks & Spencer store in Harrogate and an overhaul of one of the town’s busiest roads could be approved next week.
The scheme, for the former Nidd Vale Motors site in Leeds Road, would create up to 50 jobs and include improvements to a nearby junction.
It has been recommended for approval ahead of a meeting of Harrogate Borough Council’s planning committee.
