TWO people were seriously injured in a road accident in North Yorkshire.
A blue Ford Fiesta and red Honda CBR1100 motorbike crashed at 5.30am yesterday on the A168 at Boroughbridge, at the junction of Leeming Lane and Highfield Lane.
The biker, a 34-year-old man from Thirsk, and the Fiesta driver, a 25-year-old man from Northallerton, both suffered serious injuries and were taken to Harrogate District Hospital, where they were yesterday said by police to be in a stable condition.
A 20-year-old man who was a passenger in the Fiesta suffered minor injuries and was released from hospital yesterday morning.
The road was closed until about 11am.
Anyone who witnessed the accident or saw either vehicle prior to the crash is urged to phone PC Tracy Smales on 0845 6060247.
