POLICE in North Yorkshire are investigating the sudden death of a 58-year-old man in Harrogate on New Year’s Day.
Paramedics were called to a house in the Woodfield Drive area at about 1pm on New Year’s Day, where the man was found seriously ill. He was taken to Harrogate District Hospital, but later died despite attempts to resuscitate him.
Police said they were treating the death as unexplained and inquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
